Chris Armstrong studied painting and art history in Florence, Italy before receiving his BA from Bucknell University. After graduation, he went on to receive his MFA from New York University. It is Armstrong's second exhibit at The Morrison Gallery, where he had a showing of his ocean paintings in 2005.

Morrison Gallery is the destination gallery in northwestern Connecticut. The gallery is at the center of Kent Village in Litchfield County, Connecticut, with an Internet showcase updated as new artists and artworks are added. Gallery Owner William Morrison keeps pace with art world trends, and has expanded the Gallery's collection of contemporary works by Russian artists to include Yuri Vaschenko and Svetlana Kalistratova.
Morrison holds a series of month-long One-Artist Exhibitions between May and November showcasing the Gallery's most popular artists, and the opening receptions are a highlight of Litchfield County's cultural calendar, drawing collectors from New York City, the Berkshires, the Hudson Valley and New York State's Capital Region.
Expert art conservation and custom framing are available also, and cheerful consultation is always free of charge.
