Chris Armstrong studied painting and art history in Florence, Italy before receiving his BA from Bucknell University. After graduation, he went on to receive his MFA from New York University. Chris' pictures have been described as, “Amazing.” By Cate McQuaid of The Boston Globe and “Alive and ever so slightly promising of connection and hope." by Frederick G. Dillen, author of Hero and Fool.
It is Armstrong's second exhibit at The Morrison Gallery, where he had a showing of his ocean paintings in 2005.

Morrison Gallery is the destination gallery in northwestern Connecticut. The gallery is at the center of Kent Village in Litchfield County, Connecticut, with an Internet showcase updated as new artists and artworks are added. Morrison holds a series of month-long One-Artist Exhibitions between May and November showcasing the Gallery's most popular artists, and the opening receptions are a highlight of Litchfield County's cultural calendar, drawing collectors from New York City, the Berkshires, the Hudson Valley and New York State's Capital Region.
